Trick or Treat in the Heat

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 20th Anniversary of Trick or Treat in the Heat!

We’ll see you in 2026

Started in 2005 to give a terminally-ill five-year-old one last Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat in the Heat has grown into a beloved memorial fundraiser supporting Hospice of Anchorage, Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington, and the Seattle and Anchorage Ronald McDonald Houses.

Thanks to our amazing community, the 2025 event raised $87,105 (and still counting!) to help sick Alaskan children and their families.

Holding the event in early September lets kids enjoy their costumes without heavy cold-weather gear—something everyone who’s experienced late-October Alaskan Trick or Treat knows is a relief!
